Gather and Grow Update
The South Bend Board of Zoning Appeals approved our variance request this week for an extension of the street set-back distance for our new entrance. Several of the members were very complimentary of what one called a "very elegant solution" to making our campus more accessible and welcome to all.
MANY THANKS to parishioner Kirk Phillipsen and architect Joe Dzierla, who both attended this meeting in person. Your senior warden was forced to watch from home, but watched with delight as these two very ably presented our petition and answered a few last questions. The vote was a unanimous "Yes!"
